Jennifer Simone, M.D.

Dr. Jennifer Simone is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and is a Diplomate of the        American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. She grew up in New York, graduating High School with Honors from  Choate Rosemary Hall in Connecticut. She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. in Nutritional  Science and earned her M.D. from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn.

 Dr. Simone then completed her Ob/Gyn residency at The Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans where she was in private practice  for eleven years. While in New Orleans she supervised medical students from Tulane University and residents from  Louisiana State University. She also volunteered in medical clinics in Louisiana and traveled to Nicaragua to provide health  and surgical care to underprivileged women. She has since relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona with her family.

 Experienced in the delivery of thousands of babies, today Dr. Simone’ s practice is exclusive to gynecology. Her practice  now focuses on common problems women face - bleeding, pain and hormonal issues. Dr. Simone constructs individual  hormonal replacement therapies utilizing bioidentical hormones, including pellet therapy.

 She has particular expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including laparoscopic hysterectomy and  myomectomy (uterine preserving removal of fibroids). Dr. Simone is an accomplished gynecological robotic surgeon using  the daVinci system. She is a certified proctor for the training of other gynecological surgeons on robotic surgical techniques.
Dr.Simone serves as the Medical Director for the Center of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Honor Health Shea, Thompson Peak and Osborn campuses. She regularly attends educational meetings nationally and is involved on several hospital committees dedicated to maintaining quality of care . Dr. Simone was voted as one of the Best Doctors in Phoenix Magazine 2016. She has spoken on television and the radio and served on expert panels discussing robotic surgery. She is a member of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists,  The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and Society of Robotic Surgery.

Dr. Simone lives in Scottsdale and has 3 wonderful children and 3 adorable dogs. She enjoys spending time with them and being outdoors. She is a passionate athlete who has completed numerous marathons and triathlons.

Marilyn Laughead, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Marilyn K. Laughead is an accomplished board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over 30 years of experience. She received both her undergraduate degree and medical degree from the University of Arizona. Dr. Laughead completed her residency training at St Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix. 

Dr. Laughead practices both Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a proficient, caring clinician and an experienced surgeon utilizing minimally invasive surgical techniques, including daVinci Robotic surgery. She is a designated surgeon and member of the Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Honor Health (formerly Scottsdale Healthcare). 

Being involved both locally and nationally in healthcare education, reform and policy making; Dr. Laughead currently serves as Department Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Honor Health Shea campus. She also serves or has served in a leadership position for the following organizations: Arizona Medical Association, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Medical Association, American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine, Pacific Coast Ob/Gyn Society and Phoenix Ob/Gyn Society. She has spoken to other physicians, nurses and public on various topics related to Women's Health. 

Dr. Laughead is married and has two grown daughters. When she is not working she enjoys being outdoors, camping, hiking, boating and birding. 

Patricia Grade, M.D.

Top Doc 2013Dr. Patricia Grade is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and is a Diplomate of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. She is a native of Arizona and attended medical school at the University of Arizona in Tucson, receiving honors in Ob/Gyn, Internal Medicine and Surgery. She completed her Ob-Gyn residency at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, known for high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery.

Prior to medical school, Dr. Grade received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Arizona and completed a Clinical Pharmacy residency at University of California San Francisco. She practiced as a Clinical Pharmacist at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona, for seven years.

Dr. Grade regularly attends medical meetings, both local and national in her field. She is a member of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Phoenix Ob/Gyn Society, American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

Dr. Grade has been in practice in Scottsdale since 2001. She enjoys the personal gratitude and privilege of caring for and delivering her obstetric patients. She is proud to deliver at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea.

In addition to being an experienced and competent obstetrician, Dr. Grade is also an accomplished laparoscopic surgeon. Whenever possible, she approaches her surgical cases from a minimally invasive approach.

Dr. Grade lives in Scottsdale with her husband and son. She enjoys yoga, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and dogs.


Tiffany Stadnick, M.D.

Dr. Tiffany Stadnick is an accomplished Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University's Barret Honors College with a B.S. in Biology with a Concentration in Biology and Society and was granted membership to Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. She went on to attend the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, where she was awarded the CUP Leadership Award for outstanding community service and medical education to the underserved populations in Tucson, AZ.

She recently completed her Ob-Gyn residency at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital where she collaborated with some of the top leaders in the field of minimally invasive surgery. She is also affiliated with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. 

Dr. Stadnick lives in Scottsdale with her husband and son. She enjoys traveling, Pure Barre, and spending time with her family.

Mary Meyer, NP

Mary is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with 23 years of experience in Women's Health. She is originally from Kansas, but moved to Arizona when she was a child. Mary obtained her RN from Central Arizona College and practiced in Pinal County providing care to women and teens in rural Arizona.

In 1993 she graduated with her nurse practitioner degree from Harbor UCLA Medical Center's Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program. She became certified with the National Certification Commission after graduation and has maintained her certification since. She regularly attends continuing medical education seminars and stays current on the latest knowledge related to women's health.

Mary and her husband Collin enjoy traveling and camping with their 2 dachshunds, Mattie and Nathan.

Ashley Romans, NP

Ashley is originally from Kansas where earned her bachelor’s of science in nursing from Fort Hays State University. She started her nursing career as a postpartum nurse in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2001, shortly after graduation. In 2007 she relocated to Phoenix where she worked in labor and delivery, triage, and antepartum, at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center and attended Arizona State University’s Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program.  Ashley graduated from ASU in December 2010 and is credentialed as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation.    
Ashley began her career as a nurse practitioner working for a perinatology office in Phoenix, but missed caring for non-pregnant patients. When a position opened up with Dr. Laughead’s practice, she was thrilled to join, caring for women throughout their lifespan.  Ashley started with Dr. Laughead in July 2012 and is passionate about educating patients and empowering them to be active partners in their healthcare.
She and her husband reside in Phoenix and love to hike, ski, camp, and be outside as much as possible.
